Whatzit Called?

Names of Parts, People, and Places.

DETAILS! That's what writers are always looking for.

When searching on the internet for a specific name of a thing, say, the rank insignia on a military uniform, you'll probably have a million sites to weed through. Then you'll get stuck having to first read through the history of the Armed Services, then the history of the uniform, find the specific branch of service and the exact rank of the serviceman. And all you want to know is what that arrow-head shaped sort of thingy is on the navy uniform! It's a chevron, but how many hours do you want to waste searching for it?

Here, you will get no history lesson. Just click on what you're looking for below and you will get just the name of the item in question.

Example: If you're looking for what the groove is called on the upper lip, click 'Face' under 'Human anatomy'. A picture with arrows pointing to every part of the face will give you the name you're looking for. By the way, it's called the infranasal depression, also known as Bruce's Fossa.

Looking for experts to donate whatever they know here. From A to Z. The names of every part of a plant, a bridge, a rifle, a bomb, a house... Names of every hair style, dress, shoe, lingerie. Car parts. Rocket engines. Grandfather clocks. Just pictures of the item and their names, please.  Will post credit for the listed items.  Thanks.
